Don't know what's going on. I never had this problem before. I usually keep the slider at the fourth notch. I tried leaving it there, raising it to five and turning on EAX, turning it off. . . nothing fixes the problem. Of course I'm restarting with every change I make. Needless to say, I am confused. Anyone else having this problem? I'm running a SB Audigy.

I noticed some additional latency on some sounds the first time they played after the update on the 27th, but after today's updates it seems better. Are you still having this problem after the latest patches?

I've noticed the same. In a group the other day with friends (using Vent to chat), we all noticed the sound lag, over lapping of voices and much faster dialog (subs) in the movies.

In game play, we've also noticed a drastic lag when ctrl+shift+space when calling targets as well. Sometimes a second or two at first, then the longer we are in the zone, it lessens.
